ABORTION & SANCTITY OF LIFE Wednesday HCS HB 46 & 434 Introduced by Representatives Cynthia Davis and Bryan Pratt, enhances laws regarding the informed consent requirements for obtaining an abortion and creates the crime of coercing an abortion. Reported "do pass" out of the House Children and Families Committee.  This bill must clear the Rules Committee (expected to occur next Monday) and will then be placed on the House Formal Perfection Calendar.  It is expected that the bill may be debated as soon as Wednesday morning (10:30am or later). HB 248 Introduced by Representative Funderburk, authorizes an income tax dependency exemption for a stillborn child for the taxable year in which the child was born.
